Grinding Mill Relines

Everyone who has been involved in a grinding mill reline knows that it can be one of the most challenging process maintenance tasks. Using a crew of dedicated and experienced reline professionals for this specialized work is the best way to make sure the reline is done as efficiently as possible.

BEL has thousands of hours of experience relining every type of mill, with all sizes and types of liners. There is nothing we can not install. We employ skilled operators experienced with all types of mill reline machines including RME, Gears, Parr, or McClellan.

We know that improperly installed liners and hardware failures can cause unplanned downtime. Our reline crews will ensure all installations satisfy both manufacturer and client – from the seating of the first liner to the torque of the final bolt. BEL will work with your team and suppliers to make sure all fasteners are torqued correctly with values recorded and reported. We have completed many installations using load monitoring fasteners and will work with hardware suppliers to make sure these are installed and operating correctly before startup.

Your mill is our top priority. We will monitor the mill condition as we complete each reline safely and quickly using industry best practices.

Les Betteridge

Founder

Les has a Honors B. Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Saskatchewan. During his career in mining, he has worked in the field of metallurgy and smelting. Maximizing recovery and production were always among his main concerns. In his 20 year operational career he noticed an opportunity in the mining industry that he knew he could fill. Thus began Betteridge Enterprises Ltd, a gold and base metal recovery company that could service the needs of mining companies around the world.

Dan Betteridge A.Sc.T.

President and CEO

Dan is a honors graduate from Saskatchewan Institute of Science and Technology in the field of Chemical Technology. He currently holds a professional designation as an A.Sc.T. Dan graduated and went directly into the mining field starting as a Lab tech and working to be lead chemist and environmental manager in his previous employment. Dan gained 10 years of operational experience in the chemical and environmental side of industry before joining BEL in 2010. HSE is his forte as he has been able to sit as an OH&S co-chair on both the management and employee side. He has also sat on a national environmental advisory board prior to joining BEL.

Devon Cole

Mechanical Foreman

Devon’s extensive knowledge of critical reline equipment and tooling makes him uniquely qualified for his role. His industrial and trade experience makes him a valuable member of the on-site reline team – troubleshooting and repairing to keep the reline going before other maintenance crews can arrive. Devon’s reline know-how, commitment to safety, and technical expertise allow him to make sure our crews are well outfitted and prepared for any scope of work. He also contributes to post job reports by identifying reline choke points where efficiency can be increased by improving methods or equipment.

Aaron Teodorovici

Operations Manager

Aaron’s enthusiasm and high level of commitment to safety, performance and comradery lead to his promotion to Foreman and now Operations Manager. Aaron’s best quality aside from his working ability are his organizational skills. His ability to direct the crew and use the strengths of his crew members for the achievement of our mutual goals is evident instantly when you meet him. On every reline Aaron ensures all tasks are performed at a high level, never compromising safety. His attitude and commitment are contagious to the entire crew. His contributions to our crew are a major contributor to our reputation for safety.
